OLD ROOTS.
NEW LEAVES
Light House Holistic is perched above apartments on the rooftop of one of Cape Town’s oldest buildings, The Barracks. Our mission is to create a sanctuary for authentic connection, growth, and self-exploration.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Light House Holistic, we believe in the power of holistic well-being. ‘Holistic’ is
to look at the interconnection and sum of parts to make a whole. And so we invite you to explore all parts of yourself, offering a balance between movement and stillness, solitude and community, joy and reflection.
We offer the space not to escape your life, not to fix, and not to preach from. But to add to your life, to expand on who you already are, and to listen to what is within.
All of who you are is welcome here.
OUR WHY
Light House was born from
a desire to create a space where all people could
come together and connect through the common thread of wellbeing. We felt the city center needed a place that was not only beautiful but inclusive—a sanctuary where people of all races, ages, levels, and backgrounds could explore their personal wellness journey in a safe, supportive environment. Well-being is your birthright.
Co-founders Robyn Schaffner and Jay Margolis
OUR VISION
Conceptualised in 2021, we spent two years carefully building a beautiful space for wellness in the city.
Our vision is to create space for healing in the mainstream culture. To provide opportunities to explore what it means to live well—physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually through practices that open the doors to the beauty and challenges of life.
We can get fancy with it, but it really is quite simple. How do you best live this life you have?
OUR INVITATION
We invite you to awaken to life. To slow down. To take
a breath. Whether you’re curious, seeking healing or learning, or simply looking for a community to connect with, Light House is the place for you. Come as you are.
